At the Actors Roundtable of Rajeev Masand this year, Akshay, Irrfan, Varun, Ayushmann and Rajkummar had a fantastic and enriching interaction. It was a delight to watch them discuss varied topics about films and acting in detail.
In a previous story, we told you Akshay told that he calls Irrfan and Rajkummar Rao lazy actors.
In another portion of the roundtable interview, everyone was talking about the most difficult scenes of their career. Varun Dhawan told that silence speaks more than a dialogue and maintaining a silence is more difficult than speaking a dialogue on screen. By saying this he was referring to a scene of his film Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
He explained the scene to everyone and told that the scene was about the character of Badri (Varun Dhawan ) and Vaidehi (Alia Bhatt) being drunk and Badri just looks upon her with love and leaves.
Varun had a different thinking about this scene and even discussed with the director Shashank Khaitan that Badri and Vaidehi would have made out in this situation so it’s really difficult for him to perform the opposite as he just can’t imagine him like leaving when it’s not possible. However the director’s motive was to show the real love so he agreed to do that.
