Sridevi’s Funeral Update: The mortal remains of legendary actress may take 2-3 days to arrive

Legendary actress Sridevi gave her fans, industry and colleagues a shock of the life as she passed away in Dubai on 24th Feb night. Sridevi along with her husband Boney Kapoor, younger daughter Khushi and whole Kapoor family was in Dubai for the wedding of Mohit Marwah and Antara Motiwala.

The whole family was enjoying the wedding season sometime back and so was Sridevi who looked every inch ethereal and healthy. The immediate death worked as a big storm that shook everyone not just in India but worldwide. The reason of her death was said to be a massive cardiac arrest.

However, the recent Forensic reports suggested that the reason of Sridevi’s death was not cardiac arrest but an accidental drowning. As per the reports she was under the influence of alcohol and died because of drowning in the bathtub.

Meanwhile, Bollywood celebs started visiting Anil Kapoor’s house in Mumbai to console the family especially Janhvi and Khushi. Reportedly, Janhvi and Khushi both were inconsolable as they are going through an unimaginable pain right now. Janhvi Kapoor is about to mark her Bollywood debut in July and this news must have been devastating for her. Also the fact that she couldn’t join family in Dubai and see her Mom for the last time due to film’s shooting makes the things even more traumatizing for her.

Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor was reportedly with her during the last moments and he too is inconsolable. As per Sridevi’s co-star Adnan Siddiqui, Boney was crying like a baby when he met him in Dubai. While Boney is trying to manage the broken pieces of his heart, he also has the pressure of completing the legal paperwork in Dubai.

The authorities haven’t released the mortal remains of Sridevi as there are some formalities left to complete. Earlier there were reports that mortal remains of Sridevi will arrive in India on 26th Feb afternoon but sadly the procedure kept on delaying.

Now the Indian Ambassador of UAE, Navdeep Suri has officially tweeted about the progress of Sridevi’s mortal remains. He tweeted-

The media interest in untimely demise of #Sridevi is understandable. But the frenzy of speculation does not help. Imp to note that:
