Kapil Sharma can risk your laptop and mobile for virus says McAfee


Popular Antivirus company McAfee in their latest research for the riskiest celebrity to search for online has revealed that a search for Kapil Sharma can make your electronic gadget highly prone to virus or malware.

McAfee does this research every year and in 2017’s research Kapil has emerged on Top beating the likes of Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and more.As per the study, searching for Kapil Sharma results in a 9.58 per cent chance of landing on a malicious website.

The Top 10 names in the list are:

2. Salman Khan
3. Aamir Khan
4. Priyanka Chopra
5. Anushka Sharma
6. Sunny Leone
7. Kangana Ranaut
8. Ranveer Singh
9. Shahid Kapoor
10. Tiger Shroff

The research basically tells the name of a list of celebs which are used by cybercriminals to attract netizens to malicious websites while they search them online.

Talking about the results, Head of R&D Operations of McAfee, Venkat Krishnapur said-

“With today’s digital explosion, the gap between celebrities and their fans has diminished. There’s a looming interest among Indians to know more about their favourite icons, for which there’s a deluge of fresh and readily consumable content made available.”
