“It Seems Like We Are Criminals” says Karan Johar on the Nepotism controversy

Kangana-Hrithik and Nepotism issue seems to be never-ending right now. Every time it settles down a bit, something brings it back into the discussions.

The Nepotism debate after almost an end was restarted at the IIFA event, where Karan, Saif and Varun made fun of Kangana and later, they apologized. Well, the old wounds have now again raked up. At the press conference of Mumbai International Film Festival, Karan was asked about the same and he said:

“It seems like we are criminals. It’s like everywhere we are slapped with legal notices as we are children of parents who are within the film industry”

Ranbir Kapoor was also a part of the press conference and asked to speak on the same topic and he clearly took his leg out from the matter. He said:

“It is a sensitive conversation. At one point, you could be amused by it, but it is a sensitive thing now. My great-grandfather worked hard so that he could give his children the opportunity to do something in life. So on and so forth and it came to me. When I have children, I would like them to have that opportunity and then see how good they are.”
