Breaking: Heavy blaze in Deepika Padukone’s building. Is she safe?


What’s breaking from the tinsel town is that a huge blaze broke out at Beaumonde Towers in Mumbai’s Worli area which is the resident building of Deepika Padukone.

Deepika Padukone has both house and office in the building that caught flames from a duplex apartment on the building’s 33rd floor of Tower B at Appasaheb Marathe Marg. Thankfully, there have been no causalities reported and Deepika is also safe.

Deepika took to Twitter and wrote-

“I am safe.Thank You everyone.Let us pray for our firefighters who are at site risking their lives…(sic).”

The fire department which has graded the blaze as Level 3 and has rescued 90 persons safely out of the building also claimed that Deepika was not in the house.

The fire brigade chief a statement which read as-

“Fire is confined to 31st and 32nd floors of the building. We have penetrated inside the 31st-floor house and terrace. We encountered intense heat, smoke, and wind at upper levels, yet we have been able to contain the fire. At present, there is no information on anyone being trapped or injured. The building has been evacuated and all trapped inside were rescued safely,” said the fire brigade chief.”

Sigh! and it’s a time to give a big round of applause to fire fighters too.
